We may completely deplete the current inventory of roughly 4,000 Tomahawk missiles in less than 3 months. And, because of Obama's efforts to decrease the military, there are no more being produced.

And, “the most advanced weapons platform” being used against the terrorist organization is the F-22 – and he canceled that program too!

So, just how on earth does he plan on conducting this “war”?

Your source for this claim, please.

Also, assuming it is true, why are you arming America's enemies with this information? What could possibly possess you to want to advertize what you acknowledge as a critical defensive weakness?

Nevermind about the source, I found it: Navy Seeks Next Generation Tomahawk DoD Buzz

The Navy is testing several new next-generation cruise missiles as potential replacements for the battle-tested Tomahawk, service leaders told lawmakers Wednesday.

So when you come down off of your "hurr durr President Obama h8s da troops millturry drawbax no mo missulz WAAAAH" tirade, what that means is President Obama is getting better, more modern missiles to replace the Tomahawks. That is why we aren't making any more--they're old, and we've got plenty to last us until we begin rolling out the newer models, which began testing months ago.

Maybe you guys are a little too stupid to realize that Tomahawk production is coming to an end because it's being replaced with a new weapons system.

That hasn't yet started production because it's still in the testing stage!

Duh.

I heard on the news we are spending $10 million dollars per day of tax payer's money on this silly misadventure against ISIL. ..... :cuckoo:

Obama already told them that there will be no boots on the ground and we can't send Tomahawk missiles into civilian areas where ISIS now hides.

That was too easy. This is available for the entire world on wikipedia.

· The United States Navy has a stockpile of around 3,500 Tomahawk cruise missiles of all variants, with a combined worth of approximately US $2.6 billion.

· Tomahawk production for the United States Navy is scheduled to end in Fiscal Year 2015, with a replacement entering service a decade later.

You would do a lot better job of not looking like an idiot when you come into threads days late if you bothered to read the thread in its entirety--especially since you didn't even have to read one full page worth of posts. In particular, you should note my second post in this thread. If you need assistance in finding it, I am available to assist you upon request.

Thank you for your diligence in researching the issue, however.

Is this what you refer too?

You failed to mention that the more modern missiles won't be available for a decade.
