Well if that’s true, that’s ridiculous. The guy in that video would have been 100% within his rights to stab the intruders to death to defend his home.

Yes it's very true, no guns and been that way quite a while. They also have severe knife restrictions like no tips, must be blunt. That's been in the last couple years for that one.
20 years ago one customer in Kiwi, Aussie I forget used to have me make him knives. He had to get a permit from the govt for each and every one. He told me he even needed a permit for the smallest Swiss army knife. No prob really for him, he was in Parliament.
