Manifest Destiny? Greenland is virginal. And the world is reorganizing. Perhaps we stop defending Greenland and Canada. It would save us a lot. China would swoop in with Russia not far behind. So, access to minerals, rare earth, oil and more is important. Whether we own it or not is not as important as controlling those resources.

No one has succeeded, because their mineral resources are under more than a mile of ice.

This isn't about Greenland's resources or National Defense.
