Spending from foreign visitors to the U.S. is poised to fall by $8.5 billion this year as negative perceptions tied to trade and immigration policy lead overseas tourists to look elsewhere, according to a research note published by Oxford Economics.

The spending decline, which works out to a drop of about 5% relative to last year, is a result of less foot traffic. International arrivals to the U.S. are expected to fall about 9% this year, Aran Ryan, director of industry studies at Tourism Economics, part of Oxford Economics, wrote in a research note last week.

The ancillary affect of Don's petulant idiocy.

Ironic since foreign currencies are much stronger against the dollar and therefore America is cheaper to visit than it was before this dustup.

“poised” to fall.

More libtard panty pissing over something that hasn’t happened.

“staggering” is the estimate?

Not appalling? Disgusting? Horrible? Shocking?

What is STAGGERING divided by 2?

Perhaps prospective tourists are sick of meeting people like you and IQ-2.0 .
Whenever we become aware of Americans in the many places that we have visited , we make an immediate detour based on having met such boring , narrow and culturally naive Americans in the last decade .
So parochial , with quite primitive eating and drinking knowledge and preferences .

That was the intent of the Trump policy.

Too many "tourists" were flooding across the border so the Trump Policy is for them to "stay in Mexico" until they can be vetted.

According to the official reports, Illegal Border Crossings are down a full 99.9%.

Apparently the policy libs said wouldn't work, is indeed working.

Predatory?

Well, that is the biggest lie I'll see today, but then again, the day is young.

The US is NO MORE dangerous now then it was last year.

This is the media's doing, not Trump's.

Which still makes us a dangerous, aggressive country, you may take solace in the fact that we are not the only ones.

I take nothing from this.

We are exactly the same as we were this time last year. The ONLY difference is we won't tolerate illegals and people overstaying their visas and coming here to start shit.

In fact, it is more dangerous for an American to visit Europe, and forget about going to the UK. They are jailing people for their thoughts there.
