Female secret service agents.... is this a good match?

Discussion about this is a couple other threads.
It is irresponsible.
Trump is 6'3" tall, he is not a small target.
The inner-most circle of protection officers, a significant part of their job is to use their own bodies to cover the target.
A 5' 6" female doesn't cut it for that application.
Did you also notice that one of the females is overweight, and looked to be in her 50s. There are several close up photos of her - she looks absolutely terrified and edgy.
All of the others looked intense and alert.
What is this woman doing there??? SHE is one of the elite inner-circle?????

He also weighs a metric ton. I’m talking Jumbo sized.

So now we should have SS agents with those dimensions?

And if you click on that link to the training requirements, you will see that they have two separate training requirements for number of push-ups, chin-ups etc for men and women

It's pretty much the same requirements when I was in the Navy. Men had one standard, women another. While men have an advantage in strength, women have an advantage in response time.

On a another note - no video because I saw it live - a former Secret Service director, said he spoke to agents that were there that day who told him they asked for additional resources for the past several events and were declined every time by Washington.

These campaigns collect hundreds of millions in donations. Candidates should hire whoever they want if they want to supplement what's being provided by taxpayers.

As far as women in the Secret Service goes, it all depends on using individuals to the best of their abilities. Women are just as observant as men, perhaps even more so, as long as they're taken seriously. It was reported that the warnings of young women surveillance soldiers along the border with Gaza were ignored as Netanyahu doubted any attack would be forthcoming.

Like in firefighting or law enforcement, there needs to be one standard. Lives are at stake.

If a woman can keep up with the single standard, great. If she can’t, too bad.

Oh I agree I certainly do not criticize any of them for their willingness to endanger themselves. I look at it this way. I'm a pretty big guy and never really have had to worry too much about other people taking advantage of me. However if I wasn't and I had a choice of people to choose from to escort me through a dangerous neighborhood I'm probably going to pick the 6'2 250 lb guy instead of the 5'5 125 lb girl. Regardless of her good intentions.

Now I've seen some pretty formidable women. Standing over 6 ft with athletic build and visible musculature. Maybe this is what we should be seeing in a secret service outfit?

However, I do think there are roles that female agents are not only appropriate but necessary such as those assigned to women and can go with them into women's locker rooms, public restrooms and such.

And something else to note - Biden's pick to head the Secret Service is a woman whose prior executive experience was head of security for a soft drink company.
She served 27 years at the Secret Service but never in the higher ranks, executive positions.

It looked like there was at least 2 or 3 female agents just in trump’s onstage bodyguard team.

It makes me wonder to what extent the person being guarded has a say in who is assigned to their detail.

I’ve worked with security agencies at big concerts that utilized female team members. We’d put them at the doors wanding people or something. You wouldn’t put them in front of the stage at the barricades to keep the fans away from the talent. That just wouldn’t make sense.
