Fellow Conservatives I am entering the battle of my life time

I have worked so hard for so many years to get this blessed land to where she should be. I'm not happy on the day to day as you know over foreign policy regarding the Ukraine and Syria but all in all this government of mine has rocked it.

And I am damn proud of them.

We have a choice up and coming and if all the voters have lost their fucking minds and vote in a radical NDP I will now leave my country.

I am gone.

Unfortunately the NDP is an extension of the world community. If you notice the whole world is on the same page. From the mythical global warming issue to everything else.

The whole world is turning socialist or totalitarian.

If you leave here, there is no where to go. If you know of a place, please let me know. At this point, those preppers are looking wiser and wiser every day.

We, who are constitutional conservatives and believe in the free market, are pissing in the wind. It is like we are trying to stop a tsunami with sandbags.

Let me know where you think is the best place to go. I know there are dots of islands in the Pacific that has seen very little human activity. Seriously, I am wondering where to go. Oh, and the technology that is out there right now with Google earth and drones that can fly around the world, there is no place where "THEY" cannot see us.

I agree with you to some degree. Meaning the NDP are scumbags, but let us face it. The establishment republicans are not much better. If they are better at all.

I was born here and I'm staying here no matter what; even if I'm the last person fighting.

Right now the Republican constituents are sending a message to the party. We're sick of business as usual. We want change even if it means voting in a guy like Donald Trump. We're sick of hearing why it can't be done. We want to hear that it will get done.

We may have our problems, but quitting is not the solution. It's still the best country in the world and change is never permanent. Because we have the freedom to do so, we will always be an experimental country.

You know, I can understand your sentiment. But why vote for someone who does not really represent your platform?
Are you even sure that Trump is in any way a Conservative at all?

No the NDP is not like the Democrats. The NDP is much further to the left than the Democrats. They're so left wing, I won't vote for them.

I will admit to voting for Jack Layton when he was the Leader of the NDP, but only because Jack was my city councillor in Toronto, and he genuinely believed in serving his constituents. I've never seen another politician like him.

But Harper had to go. He's the worst Prime Minister we've had since Brian Mulroney- not as bad as Mulroney, but not far off. Harper is so obsessed with balancing the budget in an election year, that he cut spending to the point that the country went into a recession this year.

NPD is just everyso slightly ahead in what essentially is a statistical three-way tie, which means that anything is possible.

Only, most people never thought that a young, start-up party like the NPD would go this far so quickly....

The NDP has been around for 50+ years. It's hardly a young start up party. The Conservative Party has been in existence since around 2003, having been formed from a merger of the Reform Party, formed in the early 1990's, the Canadian Alliance, with the remnants of the Progressive Conservatives which had been around for a long time but had been reduced to a small rump party.

Harper is the only leader the Conservatives have ever had since its formation.

Give me some examples of how it's possible to be to the left of you, Mrs. Mao

We may have our problems, but quitting is not the solution. It's still the best country in the world and change is never permanent. Because we have the freedom to do so, we will always be an experimental country.

And if that country becomes something that we hate, will you defend that too? The republican party as I see it, appeases the CONSTITUENCY (you and me) with their rhetoric. They are pretty much professional politicians. In the end, they will follow the special interests and will not represent our will.

Look at how the republican party gerrymandered Allen West when they realized he meant what he said when he campaigned. He was NOT an establishment guy. They could not dig any real dirt on him like they did on Herman Cain, so they did it the old fashioned way. (you see how fast those stories about Herman Cain went away after he bowed out?)

Look at how the machine is destroying Trump. Not that I am that big of a fan of Trump, but he is a real enemy to the established power. Main reason is he cannot be bought. That, is a real problem for the entire government apparatus. Trust that.

I am not even sure what I am defending anymore. The kids in this country are being utterly shaped with socialist teachers. The entire public is being shaped by 90% of the entertainment industry. We are pretty much fighting godzilla with butter knife.

That is the way I am seeing it right now.

It all boils down to if you believe this country is worth fighting for.

I know how you feel. I felt the same way after these people voted for Hussein. The first time I could almost understand given our economic conditions. It's normal to want to change things under those circumstances. But the reelection is what got to me.

I was once again inspired after the mid-terms. I was confident that our country rejected Socialism. We didn't get what we voted for, but it's a lot better than what we could have had.

I'm a little older so I'm not so worried about myself. But our parents and grandparents did what they could to make this a great country for us, and I believe we owe it to the generations after us by doing the same. Don't let the media fool you. We are not being overpowered. It's just what they want you to think.

"I am not even sure what I am defending anymore." Such is the chant of the far right reactinaries and libertarians. Most of the people your age reject your nonsense, you know that.
