This whole debacle has some very grim implications. Not the least of which is the future of attorney client privilege. The way this whole post election effort to unseat the president has unfolded, is going to have forever changed the way our criminal justice system is viewed, and operated. From special councils who are accountable to virtually no one (Thanks for that Sessions...), to the respect for the sanctity of the outcomes of our elections.
While many on the left decry that Trumps election signals the beginning of the end... I don’t totally disagree with them. The outright boundless persecution of ones political opponents with no willing oversight and lack of accountability, is more than enough to damage our nation for decades to come.
