ICE could have just researched records to identify suspects and then go out and get them. That’s how law enforcement is normally done.

Deputizing ICE thugs to go around at random, rounding people up based solely on skin color, and demanding they present their papers before wishing them away to private prisons where they are held incommunicado and without due process or legal representation is neither necessary, efficient,or just.

The fact that he could not have done that with the rifle in his pants is evidence that it was in his hand. He only staggered a little on landing and later can be seen walking without a limp at all as he runs across the grass and even later in the neighborhood.

BTW, while in boot camp, I fell off an obstacle on the course that had me fall from about that height onto the ground below when my hands slipped on a wet rope. I landed on both feet, and it hurt like hell, but I finished the course.

That towel was nowhere near big enough to hide a fully assembled rifle of that style and length. I agree, he did not disassemble, reassemble in the stairwell or on the roof, disassemble again to get down, and reassemble to leave it in the nearby woods instead of hiding it down his pants and walking away from the area.
