This is what the FCC Commissioner said this morning:

“It’s been 1,039 days since Vice President Harris agreed to spearhead this massive program, yet not a single person has been connected to the internet. Not one home. Not one business. Not even a shovel has hit the ground,”

Many don’t know but Black owned businesses are DEI requirements for implementation. Problem is they never checked to see if there were any Black owned businesses doing this type of work. There weren’t. Now we know where the money to fly illegal aliens into the country came from, including Haitians that are eating our cats, geese, ducks , and farmers livestock. This is world class level failure.

The greedy corrupt Democrat politicians are probably all still working on all of their contract kickback deals.

This is typical leftard management.

Lefties are ROTTEN at management.

During COVID Los Angeles got $750 million from the feds for low income housing. They bought up some old hotels, and today 4 years later 75% of the units are unoccupied.

This is fucking TYPICAL of leftards. They can't manage their way out of a paper bag

The purpose is not to connect individuals to the internet but to build internet infrastructure

The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced $930,021,354.34 to expand middle mile high-speed Internet infrastructure across 35 states and Puerto Rico as part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda. Under the Biden-Harris Administration’s Internet for All Initiative, the Enabling Middle Mile Broadband Infrastructure Program invests in projects that build regional networks that connect to national Internet networks.

Middle mile Internet infrastructure carries large amounts of data over long distances, increases capacity to local networks, boosts network resiliency, lowers the cost of bringing high-speed Internet service to unconnected households, and helps connect unserved regions to the Internet backbone.

New Middle Mile Grants

  • The middle mile projects will cover over 350 counties across 35 states and Puerto Rico.
  • The projects will deploy over 12,000 miles of new fiber that will pass within 1,000 feet of 6,961 community anchor institutions.
  • All projects use future-proof fiber as the primary technology.
  • Awardees are investing an additional $848.46 million of outside match funding into the projects.
  • Grants span from $2.7 million to $88.8 million, with an average award amount of $26.6 million.

The OP is deceptive
The purpose of the bill is not to connect people to the internet, but to provide and Internet Backbone to remote areas that people can connect to. “By the end of the decade”

launch of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Internet for All initiative, which will invest $45 billion to provide affordable, reliable, high-speed internet for everyone in America by the end of the decade
The resources in President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will allow us to bring broadband infrastructure to every corner of our country, make service affordable for everyone, and ensure users have the devices and digital skills they need,” said Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves. “But in order to succeed, we need a whole-of-government and whole-of-nation approach – everyone who has a stake in our connected future should get involved now

Theories. Get people with private side experience to get the agendas moving. Perhaps Trump would get more productivity from the legislation passed.

They also got about $43 billion to install EV charging stations.

They have about 7 installed.

This regime is a joke and a massive failure of epic proportions.

This is a society wide problem we are seeing. It's due to the plethora of ideas people and a rapidly declining number of doing things people.

Gee, there you go ruining a perfectly good whiny bitch session by The Following with the facts. Shame on you.

Uncertainty breeds caution, especially when money itself costs more and is hard to get. But, with the $42 billion Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) spigot set to turn on in about six months, deployments have actually slowed. Financing is indeed difficult, but not just because interest rates are high. The end of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) in May ended a guaranteed cashflow that investors and lenders liked. Uncertainty about the fate of the ACP, in addition to concerns about some of the requirements of the BEAD program, are leading lenders to hold back on broadband funding.

Brendan Carr is a Repub appointed by the orange messiah in case you didn't know.

What is the purpose of internet infrastructure, Simp?

Got any guesses?

Almost all of the inflation reduction money has pretty much disappeared into black holes with little or nothing to show for all those mega billions but dust and crippling inflation that is still plaguing far too many American families.
