She reported her sexual assault. Her high school suspended her for ‘sexual impropriety.’

A woman was sexually assaulted and when she reported it she was suspended. Title IX requires all schools to investigate sexual assault. This investigation consisted of the woman telling the counselor what happened and his conclusion she giggled once proved it was not sexual assault. Little wonder why women are reluctant to report sexual assaults.

Fayette County is a solid red county voting for Trump in 2016 and Kemp in 2018. The question is why Republicans are so determined to protect sexual predators. They gave Kavanaugh a Supreme Court seat and expelled a woman for reporting a sexual assault. Little wonder why woman are becoming anti-Republican.

Part of the reasons we can not solve things is because everything has to be extremely partisan with so many. You can find negative stories everywhere. The idea should not be to take political pot shots but to solve the issues.

Yeah.....considering we can't know what actually happened here? You have to do better than this before you ride the grievance train.....

To me, when it comes to this kind of wrong, you need to be thorough and going to just the school authorities is more like going to the back end of the horse compared to where you really should be. Instead, just go straight to the law because that right there is where the handcuffs will be waiting for the real person who should be punished in any way for whatever wrong took place.

God bless you always!!!

Why would any victim go to the school ? Their first concern will always be the good reputation of the school.

This is absolutely hilarious coming from a perverted and idiotic Democratic Clinton supporter.

Because the schools repeatedly tell the students that they can come to them if there is a problem.

One instance does not make for an overall argument.

Nope, and it doesnt seem like she has gone to the police in the meantime. But they have a policy and it doesnt look like they followed it. It wont give other victims much confidence in bringing complaints forward.

Absolutely not. I've not commented on the specifics so much because there is a lack of a complete story so far but I can't imagine any student wanting to report anything to this school ever again.

What I would love to know is how much of this kind of thing is the school's business really even if the incident did take place on school property? To me, when its a law breaking activity that is going on, that is when it should no longer be on the plate of the school.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. I remember a similar situation taking place during a season six Blue Bloods episode I believe it was. The girl went to Erin and because of how the girl's school handled what had been done to the girl, Erin was able to have the woman in charge of the school be arrested for hindering prosecution. When the woman was led to the cop car in handcuffs, a whole bunch of students had a front row seat to the picture including the girl who suffered what started the whole mess. The only downside is that the guy who had his way with her never once paid in any way, the little crap.

We don't know the case, as the article points out, the actual case wasn't discussed because it is under investigation.......
