Yes, I do.

Our school takes the line that "there is no self-defense." I have kids saying "my mom/dad told me if someone hits me to defend myself." I tell them the truth: "Your parent is not wrong, but if you break the school rules, you'll have a school consequence."

Honestly, I would tell my kids that anyone who is willing to punish you for protecting yourself is not someone to listen to. They do not have your best interest at heart and you are not obligated to listen to anyone that tells you to just take it.

I feel bad for the girl who did what her daddy told her to do. She was probably scared of what would happen if she didn't do as she was told.

Why is it that it seems like in our country the good guys get punished more than the bad guys? I'll give you the perfect example for what I'm talking about. A friend of my man's got arrested for murder. However, he only murdered somebody because they were beating a dog to death.


He fully admitted what he did too and took the punishment gladly. Seymour Flops, that's why I told you that going to jail and or prison isn't the worst thing that can happen to you if you do it for the right reason as I probably would have done the same thing.

The people arresting him are supposed to be the good guys also. This is why when a dictatorship gets here, we are finished.

I still think that there's a missing piece of the puzzle here.

I want to add to my argument about doing the wrong things for the right reason. If ANYBODY ever tells me that they wish a friend or family member of mine was dead, or was saying anything threatening about them, or that they're glad a person is dead and are LAUGHING about it,... Freedom be gone because they are a threat to society. I would much rather be locked up than knowing that this individual acted out on their violent rhetorics and harmed a friend or family member of mine. Or anybody else for that matter.

^^^ If I heard right during the clip, I believe it was said that the man has a history and not a good one and so yeah, that little girl probably felt like she had no other choice. I wonder how things are going now for the girl who was attacked.
