Farmers are begging for bailout

Whatever the case, I'm sure if farmers are hurting, Trump will do something, just keep your dick in your pants. This is a war of sorts, an economic war. During WWII, many made huge sacrifices to beat the Nazis, women even worked in factories. During WWII, Parker Brothers had to make Monopoly pieces out of wood because all of the steel and metal was going to the Defense Dept.--- likewise, no one never said that bucking global economic trends to fix this mess would be painless; I'm more than happy to knuckle under a bit if it helps put America back up on top in the long run.

All you need is to look at the big picture, not in 5 minute increments like CNN.
Unfortunately the economic impact of the tariffs on our farmers is like the starvation in Gaza. It doesn't help if the solution is months or years away.

You mean the US government paid farmers with tax dollars to grow crops that were then given to people that hate us.
No. No No No No
Farm supports and subsidies have been around for decades. The grapes of wrath is best not repeated.

As for US aid to people that hate us. Maybe the generation that grows up with belly's full of American aid food, won't hate us as much.

Are you kidding? They hate us MORE.

No you loons lie.
So you think the farmers featured in the video in the OP and so many other videos are all democrats who voted for Harris. Sure...go with that.

Sometimes you surprise even me with just how dishonest you are.

Well, well. Seems our farmers are seeing socialism in a new light. After voting overwhelmingly for Trump and his tariffs, suddenly they are stunned that those tariffs are affecting them. Just what the hell did they think would happen? I guess they didn't think at all, just voted their bigotries.

We have always subsidized farmers for a variety of reasons and rightly so. They have perhaps the hardest and most important American job. Raising our food.
Problem, We are only supporting Big agu, Family farmers are paying the price.

If Kamala was President and her policies were hurting farmers and then her administration had to spend $15 billion bailing out farmers, what do you think Republicans would have to say about that?

The Trump administration is preparing to roll out a bailout package worth up to $15 billion to support farmers hurt by trade disputes.

Yes, king Trump failed. King Trump’s policies did not yield positive results, and as a consequence, many farmers are currently facing difficulties. They voted for stupid right-wing candidates? lol. :)

👉 Arkansas farmers overwhelmingly voted for king Trump in the 2024 election, but many are now suffering from the consequences of his policies. Farmers in Arkansas have been facing severe financial struggles due to rising input costs caused by tariffs imposed under Trump's administration, collapsing commodity prices, and extreme weather damage.

Many farmers have expressed deep concern about their ability to sustain their farms and livelihoods and have been pleading for emergency federal aid to survive. This hardship stands in stark contrast to their strong electoral support for king Trump, with him receiving about 64% of the vote in Arkansas.

The tariffs and trade policies that were intended to protect American agriculture have instead driven up costs for fertilizers, chemicals, and machinery, while cancelation of some support programs has further hurt small- and mid-sized farmers. The situation is so dire that bankruptcy filings and farm closures are expected without immediate relief measures, despite promises of subsidies that will not take effect until 2026. newsweek+2youtube+1

👉 The promises of subsidies for farmers that will not take effect until 2026 refer primarily to provisions in the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (OBBB), signed into law by king Trump in July 2025. This legislation includes significant farm safety net enhancements and financial support to help farmers cope with rising input costs, volatile markets, and weather uncertainties.

Key promises down here:

Updates to Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs, which provide payments to farmers when commodity prices fall below certain levels, with new eligibility for additional base acres starting in 2026.

Crop insurance improvements that make insurance more accessible and affordable, particularly for beginning farmers and ranchers, with expanded coverage options and premium support increases effective for policies with sales closing dates on or after July 1, 2025.

Extensions and enhancements to marketing assistance loan programs with updated loan rates for major commodities starting in the 2026 crop year, strengthening price floors.

Increased annual commodity payment limits and more equitable treatment of farm entities like LLCs and partnerships.

Targeted updates for commodity sectors such as cotton and sugar with improved payments and regulatory adjustments.

King Trump also pledged to use tariff revenue for direct cash bailouts to farmers affected by tariffs, although this requires Congressional authorization and is currently pending, with potential delays related to government shutdowns and budget negotiations.

Therefore, although some relief and subsidy promises have been legislated and announced, many key benefits and payments are scheduled to take effect starting in 2026, leaving farmers in difficult circumstances in the meantime. politico+4
