The problem is with human rights, it often gives better rights to the perpetrator than the victim/country. If an immigrant is found without a passport, you can't remove them, you can only detain them!! Each way the government turns, the ECHR kicks in so they have to start doing laws which takes ages. They've never had the brains to dump the ECHR. Just bring back the Bill of Rights for the British, that what Farage wants to do.

They moved to better member states to work, mostly (guys from Romania and Bulgaria might have been a bit different). You got cheap labour, they got better salaries in comparison with their home countries. I don't think you can complain much about that.

Maybe cheaper, maybe on the minimum wage, maybe a bit more. Wash cars, cook pizzas, build houses, maintain roads, clean up hospitals, take care of the elders. In other words, all that things that noble Brits didn't want to do what those wages offered.
