Well you have to understand their entire world has just fallen apart. For the past 24 months have they have been gleefully posting about jail time that Trump would do because of Jack Smith.... Gleefully posting about the consequences of the Georgia voting case.... Drooling over the impending settlement with E Jean Carroll.... But what they are seeing is not what they had hoped for.

Slowly but surely the lawfare is falling apart and if it wasn't for the ridiculous heights to which they tried to raise the civil penalties in his hush money case that would probably be successful but because of their naked political bias a case that would otherwise most likely have succeeded is now headed for the supreme Court and probably dismissal based on an unwarranted penalty.

One is reminded of the Elton John song. " But losing everything is like the sun going down on me"....
