FAANG (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix & Google) - Hiring H-1B Visa Holders While Simultaneously Conducting Mass Layoffs

He's a fake "centrist"....No anarchist worth their salt would want to be around a statist dweeb like that.
His avatar has the anarchy symbol, so I thought he might be an anarchist.

He has never heard of Murray Rothbard and refuses to educate himself on true anarcho-capitalism.

Total fraud.

A well presented Post .
But why do you and others apparently never ask some of the sensible follow- on questions ?

These companies are run by the most able people and it is inconceivable that they could all suffer by coincidence from following the same basic suicidal business model, and all at the same time. .

So what other explanations could fit the facts?

Could there really be a conspiracy among them?
Should we suggest a controlling strategy imposed on them

I suggest there is a conspiracy which you could lay at the feet of something which, for discussion purposes, you might label as a Shadow Government or even a Deep State .
And if this is reasonable , what motivates this conspiracy and what is the targeted end -position ?

And even , is this all organised Treason if you delve deep enough?
The leaders of those companies are often not American born themselves

Not to mention being young enough to having been brainwashed with feelings of guilt if they are white

Libs are throughly committed to the browning of America no matter what it costs

That is exactly where we totally disagree .

Time after time the Sheeple Herd ignores Critical analysis and thought .
They produce your type of conclusion -- and I quote :-

That's not conspiracy, that's simply gaming the system to their advantage.

And that is precisely how you run an effective Conspiracy .
By letting Gullible people be Gullible .

That is , you believe / accept the opposition-- who only lie and are cheats and deceitful -- because presumably you believe that this special time God will change the leopard's spots .

Very touching, but a near certain way of losing.
imho.
You're wrong.

Well that settles it. There is no need to even discuss this because you are aware of one particular case. End of story.
Sarcasm is not necessary. And why are you pretending that I was implying that my first-hand knowledge of ONE particular situation means that I believe that is all that is needed to prove that this is a practice engaged in by multiple companies?

Did you not understand the purpose of the supporting journalistic article?

Did you not understand the purpose of the supporting journalistic articcan't.

Next time, try and do that.

The employees being laid off are all specifically being replaced by H1B Visa holders at a lower price?
Not exactly because that's a blatant violation of the rules of the program and would also contradict there sworn attestations.

The attestation made by companies stating that there are no qualified American workers available for certain positions, often in the context of hiring foreign workers under programs like the H-1B visa or permanent labor certification (PERM), is a sworn document or declaration.
In the PERM labor certification process, for instance:
  1. Employer's Declaration: The employer must attest under penalty of perjury that they have conducted a good-faith recruitment effort and that no qualified, willing, and able U.S. workers are available for the job.
  2. Sworn Statements: These attestations are submitted to the Department of Labor (DOL) and include details about the recruitment process. Employers certify that the recruitment was conducted according to DOL guidelines and that any findings are truthful.
  3. Penalties for Misrepresentation: If an employer knowingly falsifies information, they could face severe consequences, including fines, denial of the certification, debarment from participation in visa programs, and legal action for fraud or perjury.
While the format of the attestation varies, such as through signed forms or electronic submissions, it carries the legal weight of a sworn statement due to the penalties for false information.
