Explaining the nature of British gun violence...masked gunman shoots man in leg...

American criminals, in democrat controlled voting districts kill more people....with guns....and with knives, and with clubs, than their criminal counter parts in Britain. The British criminals have guns, they just don't use them to end the life of their victims....criminals or innocent Brits. This is a hard concept for anti gunners to understand, they think that if a criminal has a gun they will just kill anyone they meet....because the gun makes them do it.

This is a stupid way to think...but they have to pretend to believe this because the crown jewel in their anti gun belief system....Britain....has increasing gun crime even though they did absolutely everything American gun banners want....they banned and confiscated every gun except for a few hunting shotguns used by the Rich British, who use them to hunt foxes and quail and other game......

On top of this, Britain is an island, and does not share a border with Indiana....so you can't just drive guns across a border into London......

For the rest of the British population...they simply have to keep a stiff upper lip as they are made victims, in increasing numbers, of the British criminal underclass.....

Why isn't the British gun murder rate going up faster? After all, the British criminals have lots of guns.....

Analysis | The surprising way gun violence is dividing America

To better understand how the geography of gun violence may affect how Americans think about the issue, The Washington Post analyzed data on gun deaths from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for every county from 2007 and 2016 and the nonpartisan Gun Violence Archive from 2016 to present. (Our full methodology is explained at the bottom of this post.)

A distinct pattern emerged: In Democratic regions of the country, which tend to be cities, people are more likely to be murdered with a gun than they are to shoot themselves to death. In regions of the country won by Republicans, which tend to be rural areas and small towns, the opposite is true — people are more likely to shoot themselves to death than they are to be murdered with a gun.

In the most Democratic regions, gun violence is more often committed against another, crimes that probably generate more news coverage and fear. In the most Republican areas, it is more often committed against oneself, suicides that may not attract as much attention.

As the below charts show, Democratic areas (measured by the party that controls the congressional district) are far more likely to experience almost all forms of malicious gun violence than Republican areas.

These charts exclude suicides, for which data are not available on a congressional district basis, so it only breaks down the fraction of gun violence that is accidental or confrontational.
