I was hoping to save money on this TrumpRX.
Them I read the news. I’m insured so I already pay way less than I would with Trump X.
Basically you will benefit if you’re uninsured and if you buy a drug not covered by your insurance. I had high hopes for this TrumpRX. As a worker with health insurance, I’m very disappointed. No help for me. Likely no help for you who are reading this either.
Medicaid people won’t benefit either because they pay dirt cheap for covered drugs too.
I’m very disappointed.
Excerpts:
“Take, for example, Xeljanz, Pfizer’s widely used drug for conditions like arthritis. Pfizer said on Tuesday that it would offer Xeljanz through its direct-sales program at a 40 percent discount from the sticker price. Because Xeljanz has a sticker price of over $6,000 a month, that would work out to a self-pay price through Pfizer’s direct-sales program of more than $3,600 a month.
For most Americans, paying such prices is not feasible.
Xeljanz is already widely covered through insurance, and many insured patients already face much lower costs, in some cases only a $25 monthly co-pay.” For a message board post.
Give me title talking about how people with insurance will pay much less anyway with the co-pay and saying that Trump our ex will help on a tiny number of people”

“For instance, the cash price for the popular weight loss drug Wegovy is over $1000 a month, the direct-to-consumer price is $499, but for people with insurance that covers the GLP-1 medication they pay $25 or less a month.”
