You need to credit sources when you quote. "Nearly", that's not enough to win an election, and the source is Breitbart. Not impressed with the source of the claim. I'd want to see the methodology. If it is radio listeners, they are typically right wing. Not only that, Ca has elected more Repubs than Dems for gov over it's lifetime, which kinda rebuts the 'dems destroyed Ca' narrative.
