Gonna tell you what Collingsworth said, and see if you can pick out what was horrifying.

"Cris Collinsworth apologizes for comment about being 'blown away' by female fans' NFL knowledge

During the second quarter of the broadcast of Wednesday's Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers game, Collinsworth said in reference to Pittsburgh, "Everybody's a fan. In particular, the ladies that I met. They have really specific questions about the game, and I'm like, 'Wow,' you’re just blown away by how strong the fans are here in this town."

Figure it out????

See the terrible thing he did, so he had to grovel and apologize????

The backlash online was swift, prompting Collinsworth to issue an apology statement posted on Twitter.

"Today on our broadcast I made reference to a couple of women I met in Pittsburgh who so impressed me with their football knowledge that I wanted to tell their story on the air," Collinsworth wrote. "I know the way I phrased it insulted many. I'm so sorry. What I intended as a compliment to the fans of Pittsburgh, became an insult.

"I'm sick about insulting any fan, but especially female fans and journalists. I know first hand how much harder they have to work than any of us in this industry. I was wrong and deeply apologize."

Disgusting what the Left has done to America.

Cris Collinsworth is a prog? ... then why was he ridiculing Santa Clara County last game he called at Levi Stadium? ... him and Al Michaels were cracking rude jokes about having to wear face masks ... 49ers have been prohibited from playing their home games in California ... they're now the Glendale 49ers ... [openly weeps] ...

Pretty soon the only people that will watch the No Fan League will be prog women. The pussy pajama boys think it is too violent for them, so they watch some gay porn or other shit to satisfy their prog lust....

Political-correctness reared its ugly head. Jillian doesn't get it because she's ate up with it.

The Collingsworth episode, being attacked by the Progressives, and having to apologize and grovel for no rational reason, is exactly what Mitchell writes about, here:
1607042508840.png

"The arrangement that identity politics specifies has placed the scapegoated white, heterosexual man in a curious position, indeed. In order to escape cathartic rage, he must prove his innocence by virtuesignaling—or more accurately, by innocence-signaling—his support for various social justice causes, so that he, like other groups of innocents, can be covered with righteousness. Only when covered in this way does the cathartic rage that brings social death pass over him and settle elsewhere, as it must."

I am waiting - perhaps in vain - for the first "celebrity" who is attacked for a truthful remark then stands behind it.

Say, "Yeah, it was surprising to talk to a woman Steelers' fan who was deeply knowledgeable about football. Most of the bitches are more concerned with the color of the uniforms than the details of what's going on in the game."

Would that work?

Just look what they did to the NBA.. It is a mess and everyone I know has stopped watching it. Even people that were diehard fans of the NBA quit watching with all their Marxist, Chinese BLM BS..
