I have fond memories of them from back in the day.
My best friend's dad must have been a filthy pervert.. he would burn his magazines every now and then. One day my friend managed to get them out of the trash before they burned.

I will be doing the same thing this NYE as in recent years: joining three or four other couples in a nice restaurant dinner, then going home to read and watch the telly. My spouse will insist that we stay up until midnight (an hour later than usual) to toast-in the New Year. That ounce of alcohol will increase my total monthly consumption by 100%.

The possibility exists that the restaurant will cancel, but it's an old restaurant with an old staff, so I think it will remain open.

Always good advice to not drink and drive. Also beware that police will be out in force writing lots of tickets for all kinds of traffic infractions, not just drunk driving.
