The US is responsible for all the violence in Afghanistan, since the CIA created the Mujahideen and the Taliban in order to attacks the Soviets and bankrupt them.
They US and England are responsible for all the violence in Yemen, since the British invaded and we took over.
It is the US that deliberately caused the civil war in Syria.
The US is responsible for the war deaths between the Ukraine and Russia, by our bribing the Maidan Coup in 2014.
The US caused the conflict in Sudan.
The Congo I do not know much about.
The US caused all the conflict in Iraq, murdering over half a million innocents.

The Afghanis have been fighting forever. They fought each other when there were no outsiders to fight, then banded together to fight the outsiders, then went back to fighting each other.

Oh, I think that goes on out in the homeless camps. But at least you have a chance. When your abuser locks you in a room, and no one knows that you're there, it would be quite a bit more frightening.

I can agree with that. I just don't believe the incidence of the abuse was high enough to justify discarding the whole system of sanitariums completely. It was clearly not a well thought-out choice.
