Cutting through all the bullshit, the preacher in question is probably just suggesting that CONVICTED child molesters - recognizing that they never have just one victim - be given the death penalty, a sentiment that even non-religious Americans can conceptually support, even though we don't actually have a death penalty anymore. Inferring that he suggests killing all sexual Irregulars simply for their sexual tendencies is delusional, intentional bullshit. About what one expects from the OP.

Those who are not idiots might note that the overall American sentiment toward sexual irregulars has evolved massively since the 50's, when police regularly harassed and arrested homosexuals simply for being in a "gay" bar. Today, they have so little to complain about that they drum up imaginary threats to "ban" gay marriage, something that even the Federal government is powerless to do.

While it gets lots of "clicks," it really serves no good purpose to highlight outliers at the political extremes and claim that they speak for the entire political movement. The real political problem today is on the Left, where nobody in the party hierarchy is willing to even hint that the crazies do not represent their "side."
