European Navy ships are militarily incapable of defending against Houthi attacks. A rag tag militia built by Iran is stronger than French, British ...

Ah, such reliable allies!

And some want more of the same. They have been ripping us off for decades, not spending anywhere near enough of their GDP on defense. ANd many of you bash Trump for his truthfulness about these "allies".

The coalition of the willing hasn't been so willing for decades.

Chinese and Russian intelligence agents have been influencing their politicians for many years. Well played by them, they have made a mockery of Western intel and the greed that pushed politicians to sell out their nations.

By the way, all of this is a reminder, a reinforcement even that the U.S needs a heavy presence in Greenland.

Europe hasn't had to spend any serious money on their military's since the end of WWII. Uncle Sugar is generous with tax payer money. Now that they spigot is turning down EU leaders are throwing tantrums.

Spending billions in tax payer money propping up the Ukraine has seen no return. I would like to see some serious economic pressure put on Russia to end this shit show.

It's true:

“Due to Budgetary Constraints, Missile Spaces Now Converted into Gym Facilities”

While the Royal Navy's Type 45 destroyers are equipped with Mark 41 cruise missile launcher systems, the lack of funds has led to the conversion of space for these systems into exercise areas, featuring treadmills and other gym equipment.

The French and British navies being the 8th and 9th most powerful in the word, wiykd pretty well have the Houthis outclassed. Ari Fleischer isn't that bright. Of course, he was Press Secretary for Dumbass George W Bush, who brought us the ill-conceived Iraq war. I am surprised you would quote him.

See, you didn't pay attention at all. It was what Mike Waltz said in that Signal thread. And he would know. Quite clear in the OP.

Bye.

You sure have waxed left-leaning today....Was it something you ate? ;)

The point is, could the EU navies' ships shoot down Houthi missiles attacking them? Yes or No?

Do they dare pass thru the Suez Canal? Yes or No?

Europe is letting the USA go broke with military spending.

Fuck Europe. Let them open their pocketbooks.

Number 2 in the world is so far behind the US power wise that 8th and 9th might as well be bathtub Navies. Japans defensive force has more assets than Britain or France. You are also ignoring the fact that Iran is supplying the Houthis.

Nah, just stating facts of world navies, that being the discussion. As for the Bush comment, nobody with a clue in retrospect supports his Iraq war.

Sure they have the capability, the advance weapon, etc, but the British Navy does not have a specific patrol dedicated solely to the Suez Canal, but it maintains a presence in the region as part of its broader maritime security operations.

Oh, I never said they could protect against US aggression, if the US chose to do so. The sized of the two are no comparison.

Well, there was so much ignorance and misinformation on that call.

The British and French are heavily engaged.

Ironically, so are the Chinese.

Nobody patrols the canal. It is a big ditch solely owned and operated by Egypt. Yemen is at the south end of the Red Sea and has nothing to do with the canal.

Like you said, many navies have a presence in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. The Bab-el-Mandeb straits are the biggest problem for maritime traffic that the Houthis can exploit, Vessels transiting it are well within the range of shore-based missiles and drones.

Military neuters on their best days, which is fine, stolen tax monies should go anywhere other than warfare.

This was all about Israeli shipping when it began. 'Reopening shipping lanes' is just the latest fig leaf for US mischief making.

Lol

As though the full spectrum dominance doctrine doesn't exist and isn't supported by US voters.

As though NATO doesn’t have spending targets by EUROPE.

They should spend what they are supposed to and use their blood and treasure.
