Well none of mine want Shariah Law... Certain things they say might be better but not on a religious context, only because it might make a better society, but they are respectful and a discussion can be had without any insults...

Maybe you worked in very Muslim countries... I don't know... There are very Christian countries in Africa as well and 100 years ago the various christian churches did some horrible thing. The Crusades were just 2 centuries of plunder and rape in the Middle East, so I kind of get how they don't particularly like Christians down there... Add in US and Western meddling in the region, you kind of get the idea...
