I get it... you don't care if our public schools are not working... if you put the dept. of education in the hands of politically minded federal bureaucrats they will try and infuse their ideology into the classroom...
Let the states run their schools... they largely do anyway... so cut out the middleman uncle Sam....
Notice you don't see governors complaining about this... and the dems will find out that teachers are in favor of abolishing the Federal Dept. of Education.....
