Now Columbia University may have come up with a way to help reduce C02 from the air and environmentalists are against it... Are these people ever going to be happy?

you should explain why they are against it. it is because they see the technology as a way to keep polluting because it can be cleaned up, rather than to simply stop polluting.

but they are getting way out of hand. oppsing wind energy because it kills some birds? not wanting us to use technology to clean up the air because we will keep polluting? they need to realize that we're not gonna start living in mud and grass huts and give up all electrical appliances. we're trying to make concessions. the environmentalists need to do the same.
