Emmy Award Show sinks to new low

You made the right decision.
I watched 5 a seasons of Dexter when I had down time and it was pretty good.
The last TV I really liked was "Northern Exposure" because my husband and I worked for the show.

After that, I watched "StarTrek: DS9" for the whole run.

X-Files was good.

That was about it.

Remember when you used to get 22/24 episodes in a season? Now you get 6/8. And they are usually all crap.
Most of the plots are convoluted. The only series I thought was excellent recently was "Justified".

Lots of great TV on television these days for those who wish to access it. I cannot wait to experience Abbott Elementary. One good thing the Emmys do is break through the silos of viewership and inform you of other great shows that you're not watching. Ted Lasso and Succession were two such shows I didn't watch when they first came out. Now? It's appointment television for the most part.

Most of the stuff on television is dog shit.

Then you should feel right at home.

How much TV do you watch? Let me guess...very little right?
I once watched more when there were better shows and series. I've lost interest in what passes for entertainment today.

So you don't watch TV but pronounce the content you're not watching as "dog shit"?

Let me guess, you're a Trump supporter, right? That seems to be what you guys do... throw around profane opinions based on nothing.

Politics has nothing to do with my decision and I am not a Republican. My opinion was not meant to be profane either.

I loved Northern Exposure and we have the entire series on DVD that we'll watch on occasion. We found ourselves in Roslyn on one of our wanderings over that way.

Abbott Elementary is not new. It has a season under its belt and it SUCKS. If that is what you call good television, then it is evident why you disagree with the posters here.
