Elon Musk is now training his fire directly at President Trump after several days of mostly criticizing Republicans in Congress. He just accused Trump on X of “ingratitude” and said, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election.”

Musk is now responding in real time to Trump on X. He just reposted a video of Trump saying Musk “knew the inner workings of the bill better than anybody sitting here.”

“False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!” Musk wrote.

Mr. Trump said he was “disappointed in Elon” for publicly opposing it.

I find it fitting that this catty breakup between two aging divas is happening during pride month.

That really only helps the debt situation if you -- wait for it -- raise taxes.

There is good in the bill everyone with a brain should want. But no wants the contiual spending into BS, waste, grift, corruption, fraud and outright theft. Yse, DOGE identified much of each. So much Congress won’t even mention it. Deep state won’t police itself.

Nobody wants people in upper tax brackets to pay back the money that was spent for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the financial crisis bailouts, and pandemic stimulus. We cut taxes during the Bush years and again during Trump's first term - and we've been living with an increasingly untenable budget situation since.

I think this is actually what a lot of Republicans want. They want to make the fiscal situation so dire that we have no choice but to impose harsh austerity and kill off social safety nets so that the wealthy control literally all major spending throughout the economy. We didn't have a debt/GDP problem until Reagan took office in 1981.

Tesla by far the best EV car out there. All the higher ups in Silicon Valley could not get enough of the hi-tech installed. I lived it, I saw it. I saw the chargers go in. Nothing else could touch a Tesla EV.

But I don't want one. why would I? Don't want to install a charger. etc. Don't want a garbage VOLT or LEAF. Hybrid maybe if I needed it I suppose?

Remember that Fox interview where Trump said he'd release the JFK files, the UFO files, but then when asked if he would release the Epstein files he said not that one so much because there's a lot of fake stuff in there that could hurt some people. I knew he was referring to himself. Elon said it. Will Trump sue him? Would that require releasing the Epstein files like Fox and to give up their emails in the Dominion lawsuit? Board Stain are wrong on almost everything all the way back to GWB. That's as far back as I paid attention. Almost losing everything during the deep state housing crisis (another self inflicted wound caused by Congress).
