Making government far more efficient is a long-overdue strategy. I'm 100% behind it, and I'd bet we could avoid cutting all that much in services if we just got rid of the waste.

Instead of this juvenile, showbizzy, adrenaline-fueled slash-and-burn fiasco, Trump/Musk could have done the smart, business-based thing and create/implement a clear, scalable, standardized auditing system that reviews all federal dollars spent anywhere (and toss in the Fed, too).
