The people who happily silence others without a whim of concern don't even have the cerebral capacity to appreciate how much they are the enemy of civilizations everywhere.

One of the reasons so many people admire those who fought in WWII is that we look around society today and can't fathom to believe that those in their prime today would endure such a situation. One might have an easier time arguing that there are particular people and agencies today (cults in Canada) that if transported to the 1940s who would more quickly assist the Germans in their objectives than they would America.
