Musk is butchering the US Government without the knowledge of what the consequences are... He has business acuman but he was an average student and didn't grow up in America knowing what welfare payments do, why US has SNAP.... He is not American and suggest someone seriously looks at the city he grew up in and figure out if this is what you want America to be. I lived in Pretoria for a year, no thanks.
US is basically upset that you can buy dozen breakfast cearals but you only have two parties to realistically vote for... Think about that, America the country that screams from the roof tops about competition are buy a duopoly... Trump is not a change, he is doubling down on more centralised power in fewer hands..
Compare that to any other Western First World Country (except UK), they all have at least half a dozen parties to choose from and other many more. Voters have a far wider choice to pick from. Notice that none of these countries have GDP Debt ratio as high as US (which is 121%). Germany's is 63%, Isreal is 67%, UK is 101%(and they are considered basket cases)
And they all have better Education, Health, Social Safety Nets, Enviromental laws, consumer protections....... The list goes on...
And Trump & Co will scream but they don't spent 2% of there economy of Defence... Yes, but why spend so much? Who are we invading? Russia (the supposed best army in the world outside NATO) is crap, they couldn't even invade one of the poorest countries in Europe next door to them... China has no friends really... North Korea make bad cannon fodder...
But what was a real threat and killer was COVID... And what country paid the money for the Vaccine Research before it appeared? Germany. Yep, Germany found the real enemy.
