I was watching a live senate hearing on TV earlier about the challenges that we face with China, spying, technology, military, etc., and in the 20 minutes I followed it, two democrats got up there and instead went off on a tangent bitching about Musk.

One referred to him as an unelected president, and the other railed because Musk had big factories built in China (probably for making Teslas).
