I guess the OP's remote control is broken and can't change channels. Got stuck with Ellen's show.

I used to laugh when she had a comedy show, but stop watching it when she decided to play the character of lesbian in it. The show was not funny anymore.

Since then I lost interest in watching her programs.

Well, there's "lesbian-as-seen-on-TV" for the entertainment of the male viewers, and the male bodyguards complain that she's "cold" or "frigid" in bed, because, again, if she were actually "seeing" or "dating" a male companion or escort, the she would not be considered a "lesbian."
