Around 40 percent of Americans skate by and pay no Federal income taxes. The poor and middle class have a bonus in fact. The Rich pay millions of income per rich man and your regret is they get to have any income to keep.

Here is my point. The Rich are actually paying the bulk of our taxes that are used to pay for all Government things. And when you talk of taxes, they also pay billions to workers for their taxes to pay. The 40 percent skate by and of course to you that is fair.

Our economy and our nation was better off when the rich were paying more taxes than they are now. What you do not seem to understand is that this is not about what is fair or not, given that total fairness never will be achieved. In addition, this is not about individuals but about the entire nation. If the entire nation is doing well, all will be doing well.

When one person has enough money for 10 lifetimes, for himself and his entire family and another person doesn't have enough to feed himself of his family for 1 week, that doesn't work for the benefit of the nation.

If some have to pay more but won't suffer at all (such as a billionaire like Musk that just lost $91 billion, and he doesn't even feel it) and someone else suffers simply because the price of eggs went up, that is bad for everyone.

This is especially true, given that the rich need the poor to work for them in order to stay in business. If a billionaire has no employees (or people to buy his products) because they are all dead from starvation, how will he stay a Billionaire for long, or have anything to buy?

I am more like Lincoln in this way. Of the people, by the people and for the people.
You are just for Government. Frankly as our ruler.
