The election in Austria is this Sunday. Yesterday I found a package in the mailbox from the ÖVP, Chancellor Nehammer's party, inside there was a poster from the ÖVP, a few packets of sugar and a ballpoint pen and a brochure about all the positive things he will do. I didn't have anything like that in my mailbox from the other parties. The ÖVP was mostly in government and I didn't really notice anything bad, they are less left-wing than the Greens and SPÖ and less right-wing than the FPÖ, pretty much in the middle. If I vote on Sunday, I might vote for Nehammer.

Packets of sugar and a ballpoint pen? :laughing0301:

yes, but its just "advertisements" covered in their slogans and party lables.

You could have gotten laid for two packets of sugar and a ballpoint pen in post-World War II Germany. :laughing0301:

Austria’s far-right FPÖ party is the frontrunner in Sunday’s election. How did it get here?

Austria goes to the polls this Sunday, with the populist, anti-immigration Freedom Party (FPÖ) tipped to emerge as the winner, in what would mark another gain for the far right in Europe.Unlike its peers, however, the FPÖ is no upstart and has previously been part of coalition governments.

As it is unlikely to win an outright majority, according to the latest polls, the FPÖ the party would need support from other parties – who could instead work together to freeze it out. Here’s what you need to know.

Well, his opponent said that Viktor Orban is a role model. It seems you made the right choice

Far right got most votes in Austria's election, first projections show
The first right got the most votes in today’s election, according to first projections.

Far-right Freedom party (FPÖ): 29.1%

Centre-right Austrian People’s party (ÖVP): 26.2%

Social Democratic Party (SPÖ): 20.4%

NEOS-New Austria: 8.8%

Greens: 8.6%

what do you say?
I hope he wont be in the government or chancellor, but i dont know if the ÖVP will get a coalition with him, inbefore they said they wont with Kickl, but they might change their mind. Im sure the SPÖ and Greens wont get into a coalition with Kickl. If the other parties join together he wont be in the government.

Well, in Austria it seems that it's always on the right of the right somehow.
