How did you make out with the storm?

I'm in the DC area. If you ask me, FL got it easy, even with it being a Cat 4. Rain and flooding is the biggest threat from hurricanes AFTER wind. The feeder bands whipped several states really hard, pulling in moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Very tragic and not really something that could have been forecast in time for people in those areas to evacuate. They would have had to of been given at least 3 days notice.

Many houses got flooded in FL. That one did serious flood damage.

Most low-lying coastal areas got it.
