Thank you ... in this case then ... they would be the `wrong` electors ... do we have a citation that says Georgia sent 32 electors, or that they just sent Trump's 16? ... these 16 aren't fake if the Trump campaign submitted their names when they filed with the Georgia Sec of State ... that's the general case, I'm not exactly sure about Georgia law, but electors are chosen, on average, a year before the election, and by the candidates themselves ...

Donald Trump is being accused of trying to strong-arm the Georgia SoS into sending up Trump's handpicked electors, instead of Joe Bidet's electors ... that didn't happen, which is why the Georgia SoS isn't up on changes ... he indeed sent Bidet's people ...

Faithless electors is something different ... and not all states have laws against this ... according to Wikipedia, Georgia has no laws concerning this, and SCOTUS ruled years ago Feds have no say ...

"Willis has said that the meeting of Trump’s electors on Dec. 14, 2020, despite Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s certification of Biden’s win, is a key target of her investigation, along with Trump’s phone calls to multiple state officials and his campaign’s potential involvement in an unauthorized breach of election equipment in rural Coffee County, Ga."
"Georgia was among seven states where the Trump campaign and local GOP officials arranged for alternate electors to convene with the stated purpose of preserving legal recourse while election challenges made their way through the courts," said the report. "Among the questions both Willis and federal investigators have explored is whether the appointment of alternate electors and the creation of elector certificates broke the law. Another question is whether Trump campaign officials and allies initiated the strategy as part of a larger effort to overturn Biden’s overall victory during the counting of electoral votes on Jan. 6, 2021."
