Wrong, if you look around and read the news it's infected ducks, pets, dairy cows, etc. and a few humans.

So far I haven't seen anything about ducks, pigeons, turkeys or any other kind of bird.

Don't drink the egg nog. When you elect A president there is always a percentage of promises kept. Never been a president who delivered on 100%.... right now with Trump he's on a trajectory of about 90% in my estimation.
If some things take a little longer than so be it. When the chickens get healthy things will be just fine. meanwhile you can eat a soy based or pea protein egg replacement.
