89M of the 90M people in Iran are just people in Iran. How does making their lives a living hell help any of them, make the world better/safer, or open the strait or diminish their nuclear capabilities?

1. Worst case scenario we bomb civilian infrastructure, commit a war crime, and become the world’s worst human rights violator.

2. Best case scenario we are bluffing and we have an unhinged ranting president

3. No case scenario is Iran folds to Trump’s wishes and makes him Emperor.

Thing is, Iran calling his bluff all day, they have no choice.

If Trump bombs, power plants... Why would Iran open the strait, they have nothing to gain?

But Iran would bomb Israel power plants and desalination plants... US would be effectively giving permission.
