E-mail responses

Every time someone responds to one of my posts it generates a response to my E-mail. Does anyone know how to turn this feature off?

If you do know how please explain it in a way that a completely non-tech person like me can understand.

User CP ----> Edit Options ----> Messaging & Notification ----> Default Thread Subscription Mode

Use the drop menu in the location above to set your preferences. Personally, I have mine set to "Do not subscribe."
