Places like Walmart in general sell more dvds than blu rays. It also depends on the location I guess. One Walmart near me is like 50/50. Another a little further out is like 80/20.

Dvds are cheapest even for new movies and hell you can buy dvd players for 20 bucks. Poorer people are in great abundance.

Every Monday they list all titles releasing that week with pictures, information, links to them and gives really updates when studios announce upcoming release schedules, have a vast resource of all kinds of movies and there forum is really active with users for all kinds of discussions.

In practice, DVDs give you like 90% of the clarity of a BluRay for half the price. I only fork out for a Blu Ray if it is a blockbuster movie and I absolutely want the very best picture possible.
