Well where is the proof? Wouldn't it be smart, if you want to increase sales, if your competitor increases their prices that you DON'T increase yours, and advertise as such?
One might think so but the greed creeps in. You understand your "bonus" is based upon raising prices.
Why would a company WANT to jack up prices when they don't have to? Do you not know when you jack up prices, you DECREASE sales? Do you have any clue how to run a business? Apparently not.
Don't ask me to explain greed. Look at Subway.........jacked up the prices of their subs and people walked away. One would think someone running Subway would have understood this wouldn't you?
All a business cares about it the next P&L statement, not long term health because bonuses aren't paid on long term survival.
