President Donald Trump’s intelligence chief is exploring ways to revamp his routine intelligence briefing in order to build his trust in the material and make it more aligned with how he likes to consume information, according to five people with direct knowledge of the discussions.

As part of that effort, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has solicited ideas from current and former intelligence officials about steps she could take to tailor the briefing, known as the President’s Daily Brief, or PDB, to Trump’s policy interests and habits.


One idea that’s been discussed is possibly creating a video version of the PDB that’s made to look and feel like a Fox News broadcast, four of the people with direct knowledge of the discussions said.

So in other words, Trump is so obtuse the PDB cannot be given to him in written form or apparently in person. So to keep his interest Gabbard now wants to give it to him in the form of a FOX News broadcast. Even Joe Biden had enough wits about him where there was no discussion of dumbing down his PDB.

I guess if that does not work Gabbard can try cartoons or comics. How about using Elmer Fudd to explain intelligence matters:

Once Trump was nominated in 2016, he REFUSED the intelligence briefings that had been routinely offered to every Presidential candidate since the 1940’s.

And he continued to ignore them once he was in office.

He is notorious for spending hours watching himself on Fox.

So making a Presidenial briefing that looks like Fox Noise makes perverse sense.

Trump has shown us that the United States is a nation not unlike past empires. We are slowly atrophying from the decay of political leaders as we repeat the same mistakes they have made throughout history only in different ways. Many are so self-important they see themselves as saviors in their lifetime careers of servitude for us all. And there are good politicians. They are overshadowed from those who are not. One wonders how an obscure, blind, computer shop owner knew he had to reach out to Guliani.

The laptop was nothing but a political bloody shirt.
