Trump is a BS artist that promises much but reality says its all talk and incompetence

believeme.webp

Trump's executive order to lower drug prices may not do much of that

Trump administration cut $2.7 billion in NIH research funding through March, Senate committee minority report says

The 15-page report warns that the administration’s actions “will lead to fewer breakthroughs for diseases like cancer, a weaker public health response against future infectious disease threats, and a continued decline in trust in public institutions,” and it calls for an end to the research funding.

Well Don is a BS artist for sure, but cutting cancer research makes sense. It’s a fraud. A money making scheme by criminals. They’ve been researching it for decades, yet the treatment protocols are unchanged and extremely profitable. Anyone who comes up with alternative treatments is attacked and destroyed, by the establishment cancer industry.

My drugs are already free, can't get them any cheaper than that.

How do you know what has been accomplished with cancer research and what is fraud? Did Trump tell you?

Yet gene therapy has significantly improved those allegedly unchanged treatment protocols.

Cancer research is a fraud, which I repeat just for you.

So just imagine how many fewer pharma breakthroughs we would have had if the research was left up to the countries with socialist medicine that pay pennies on the dollar for medicines while US consumers pick up the tab. Pharma will equalize pricing across the world. Countries that have been living off our backs will have to figure out how to pay for them. Sorry, but the gravy train must end at some point.

I doubt it ends in the US.

My grandson is alive today due to cancer research almost eliminating death from childhood leukemia. If my children had it, they would likely have died. STFU you pissant moron! The only fraud here is you!

Right, it won’t end because big Pharma will continue to make money. If these countries with Socialized medicine want to fund their own research, have at it, but they will quickly find out that without our subsidies via pharma, they would be in big trouble.

In the US, research is funded through donations; even if it is a government grant, it comes from taxpayers' money. That is not capitalism.

Wow. He just signed the executive order like two days ago and you are already stating as fact that drug prices haven't come down. Is that really the best you've got?
