Driver Plows Through Crowd in New Orleans

"The Pentagon evaluated Soleimani as the leader of Tehran's attacks on U.S. bases in Iraq, including the 2019 K-1 Air Base attack and killing of a U.S. civilian, and the shooting down of a U.S. aerial vehicle. Regarding the decision to kill Soleimani, the U.S. focused on both his past actions and a deterrent to his future action as the Pentagon announced that "he was actively developing plans to attack U.S. diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region."[82][83][84][85]"

The Pentagon announced :abgg2q.jpg: what are US bases doing in Iraq? they have been asked to leave several times.

Complain when it turns on us? Do you hear yourself, your last little statement belies the rest of your post. You place the blame solely on those you think 'created' terrorists for all of their actions and behavior. 'Of course not' my ass, you absolutely believe they are justified in their actions and you support them, apologize for them, explain why they do what that do as if that justifies the behavior.
I'd like to respond to those accusation levelled at Deadstick if I may.

The United States is culpable here, it has lied and lied and lied to the American public for decades - both democrat and republican administrations. The US long ago embraced the Monroe Doctrine and that has dominated our foreign policy.

It's been said before in this thread that the US created, supported Muslim extremists and this is a matter of record, you can reject the claim I don't care but the truth is out there for anyone who cares to think for themselves.

Fanatical Muslim extremists have traditionally been little more than background noise in the Middle East, just as we have fringe extremists here in the US, they are there but rarely amount to much. But when the US actively supplies and trains and encourages such extremists to organize and fight an enemy that also happens be one of our designated enemies, then we are no longer dealing with fringe political ideas but a capable military force.

In many cases we eventually tire of these groups, once our goals have been met, we want them to go away but they don't they eventually grow to potent political forces with a structured ideology and in some cases that ideology understands that the US is a threat to it and this is what we have.

Terrorism is the use of violence and fear and intimidation to coerce a population and government, to act in a way that suits the long term goals of the terrorists, when "we" do it to "them" that we call it things like "the war on terror" or before that the "war against communism" and so on. When "they" do it to "us" we call it terrorism, fanaticism, radicalism etc.

All along (and the press and media play along too) this is represented, portrayed, framed at a very high level as "good" (us) versus "evil" (them) and the gullible uneducated American public obediently accept that "explanation". That is pretty much the situation here and has been for many years.

How did that work out for peace in the Middle East?
The most powerful terrorist state in the word (United States) has never wanted peace in the Middle East so why would you expect it to be peaceful?

He was American, one of your home grown terrorists, blow back is a Bitch.
That's what you folks always try to say. It wasn't a hate-filled Muslim or Transsexual that refused to get along with anyone. It was a MAGA Republican. That must be why he had an ISIS flag on his trailer hitch.

But didn't you hear, the truck ran into those people, not a GD converted Muslim.

What makes this shit happen so often is cocksuckers always making excuses for these oxygen thieves.

Dude, Soleimani was responsible for bombings that killed over 200 American soldiers.
American soldiers who had no business being there, why do you speak as if the US has a divine right to go and station US forces anywhere it pleases anytime it wants? That's the kind of thinking, the kind of attitude that I'd call radicalized.
Pull your head out of your ass.
It is incredible how the trumpanzees here are routinely condemning the FBI, CIA, DOD yet when discussing geopolitics they are happy to parrot the "explanations" given to them by these very same institutions. I've never encountered a more uneducated - willfully uneducated - population before.

Allahu Akbar y’all

Another anchor baby. And besides, being born here doesn't exempt anyone from being a menace and being a good candidate for being deported, before they do crap like this.

Even if that article is true so what? those soldiers were not in the US they were occupying Iraq.

You have no business having a Normandy statue as your avatar, or is that displaying who your enemy is?

Guess we shouldn't have invaded Europe in the early 40's and let you become German citizens.

Are you muslim?

That'll be the same Pentagon that Trump has been condemning and promises to "clean up" yet here you are parroting it !

Known?

Known how?

Apparently there is video of others helping him load the explosives on the truck, one of them a woman. Saw it somewhere but didn't save the link, and have seen no positive verification of it yet.

Deported to where? the terrorist was American, not sure about your laws but i would say it's illegal to deport him, although that never stopped you before banging people up for years in Guantanamo.

You're a dumbass. The same people that put our troops in Iraq are the same people who are planning ISIS attacks in the US now.
