Isbell appears to have some talent, but the rest of the group is ho hum. Maybe that's why he left.

The group is far left, and incorporate too much leftist nonsense in their music. It's almost as if they're a political group trying to make a statement with dumb music and retarded lyrics: Stick your thoughts & prayers up your ass. Seriously?!

I suppose that is why they are darlings of the far left. Just look at black music. Libs try so hard to be down with the coloreds that they wear out their shoes tapping to the beat. Of course, the far left is going to embrace lyrics critical of the South, which is what these dopey Drive by Truckers do. The politics is more important to libs than actual music.
On top of that, these leftist imbeciles seem to be trying to undo the legacy of an entire era of music. What the hell is the point of trying to run down a bunch of southern rock music and their fans when many of them are dead? Is this some bizarre attempt of academic revisionism, but now in the music scene?

Btw, Southern Rock was long before my time, but I hear a lot of it as I station hop a lot. Your band is nowhere near the talent of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Suggesting that is quite ridiculous.
