If anything it's the reverse. They are definitely linked. Wages were flat for far to long plus there was little inflation. Time to move on.Wage increases don't cause inflation.

Well sure they do (someone has to pay that wage).Wage increases don't cause inflation.
COVID really threw us for a loop and I believe it's still going to bite us in the ass again. It's still there , circulating around. It can easily morph into a very transmissible lethal strain. Perhaps that's exactly what this world needs , a few billion less people might give the earth a fighting chance to get back to normal. Got to look at the plus side , otherwise it's all bad news.Ding ding ding
The huge gap in wages and wealth, however, absolutely does cause inflation.
And it isn't like we lost jobs in July. We just didn't add as many as Biden projected.Holy shit, 3.5 years of solid economic growth (including last Q and forecast for this Q) and NOW you decide to admit that Biden is causing it?
And it isn't like we lost jobs in July. We just didn't add as many as Biden projected.
I'm in sales. This would be like crushing it month after month for over 3 years and then one bad month and your boss fires you for it.
Sure does seem made up. Things are humming along, 3 months before the election, we only add 120,000 jobs instead of 180,000 that the administration projected and SUDDENLY the dow takes a dump? Not buying it.It's weirder than that - this one is your boss firing you because you had too many job applicants show up.
GDP is growing. Jobs are growing. Consumer spending is growing. Initial unemployment claims low.
We just have a panic because a dumb auto-trigger alarm was tripped by sudden increase of people looking for work, which bumped up unemployment %.
I don't know if this is significant but I noticed my neighbor had a garage sale this past weekend. In the past I used to see tons of people visit those things. Few people came , he was left putting most of the stuff back in his garage and threw some out with the trash. I think Eric and aren't buying as much anymore because they already have too much junk and that 's why the economy here is slowing down. Maybe it's true all around the world. Too much junk from.China. Does that make sense ?It's weirder than that - this one is your boss firing you because you had too many job applicants show up.

The same deep state trump complained about ? That's ba twist.Sure does seem made up. Things are humming along, 3 months before the election, we only add 120,000 jobs instead of 180,000 that the administration projected and SUDDENLY the dow takes a dump? Not buying it.
This is the DEEP STATE at work. Trying to help Trump win.
The same deep state trump complained about ? That's ba twist.
For Trump's 19,000 DJIA? Better check that.
Nobody cares what you pretend to recall.Trump also set a record for the most single day drop records, as I recall.
I don't pay attention to annecdotes like that. Lots of reasons for people not showing up depending on time of the year - weather, vacations etc.I don't know if this is significant but I noticed my neighbor had a garage sale this past weekend. I stopped buying most things 5 years ago. I simply told myself I don't need any more stuff. Went to Walmart the other day to buy groceries ( those I need ). Again few people and gigantic TV's for sale cheap. No rush to buy them. How many TV's does one household need ? I believe the market is overstocked on a lot of stuff.I don't pay attention to annecdotes like that. Lots of reasons for people not showing up depending on time of the year - weather, vacations etc.
Need only one TV - high end OLED like LG C/G FTWI stopped buying most things 5 years ago. I simply told myself I don't need any more stuff. That's not quite the scare you think it is.It can easily morph into a very transmissible lethal strain.
It's out there , so the possibility exists. And it seems no one is monitoring it anymore. It could catch US off guard again. That's not quite the scare you think it is.
Dead people don't spread covid.
Viruses morph into deadly forms all the time. Usually we don't know it was a mutated virus that caused death, and usually it doesn't lead to epidemic. Because the hosts die.
But I get your point.
Yup, it's what lowered GAS PRICES in 2020, but do you wish to supply the trump policy that lowered GAS PRICES in 2020?Do you remember “Covid?”
Well its and election year. The blob got shot and had a convention and actually lost ground in many polls.
So any bad news that hurts Americans is like gold to the morons who support the blob.
Pathetic , almost a martyr, almost a saint - these people are nuts. If there is a hell trump definitely belongs in it.
