The DoT withholds the money, pending state prosecution of the NY officials who fraudulently issued the licenses.

Fed money often comes with strings attached, states have to abide by certain fed standards to receive it, DOT money in particular. It's really all dem states understand as it always part of a grift stream.

I don't know if it's true or not, but my guess is it was some of those illegally licensed truck drivers, that have damaged several of our bridges that have now been closed for repairs........and some Dem either in Olympia or Seattle want to make a 'Stupid Driver' law. Idiots don't realize it's their fault in the first place for giving out licenses to illegals
