While Ketanji is claiming to be an originalist and a textualist, what she really is is a politician in a black robe.

i altered the title. my mistake. my bad! When did they pass the Amendment including Jackson?
i watched most of the Ketanji hearings and missed the part about originalist too. maybe because i didn't watch the Ben Sasse/Mike Lee questioning partsWait... originalist and textualist? Really?
What exactly did she say about that?
:eyebrow:

This sounds like a considered opinion. From what I have read and heard of accounts of people who worked with her, she is very studious of the facts of each case before her and the applicable laws. She doesn't strike me as someone who is going to be inclined to try to be a shamanka taking jurisprudence on an ayahuasca-infused journey of discovery. The left will probably be disappointed by her as too moderate once she is ruling on cases. The right, well they will hate her because she isn't a white man from the right country club.

You've studied her writings then?
Can you explain the pattern in her pedophile cases?
I've studied pedophilia (being a parent, I felt I had to know - at least a little), and I would never in a million years come to the conclusion that "some people collect child pornography just to be collectors".
What's up with that?
Let us not forget that for her (Donna Brazile) to say anything with a resemblance of intelligence, she has to get her talking points and answers from CNN...Donna Brazile was the chair of the largest crime syndicate in the country (DNC).
Yet she pretends black women are of no consequence in America?
With wailing and woe is me bullshit like that you can see black women themselves don't think much
of their importance to his nation.
Bullshit. She's stupid, period. She's a Black lawyer going to the Supreme Court and she isn't familiar with the Dred Scott case. Something terribly wrong with that picture. From what I have read and heard of accounts of people who worked with her, she is very studious of the facts of each case before her and the applicable laws. Agreed with your post until you threw in that last retarded sentence. ...From what I have read and heard of accounts of people who worked with her, she is very studious of the facts of each case before her and the applicable laws. No, I got it all right. She's stupid. She is a black lawyer and she is going to the supreme court. At least you got that part right.
What the bloody hell are you babbling? Bitch ignores the law and federal guidelines in all cases, to give pedophiles basically no jail time. This is not studious of the facts, and is the exact opposite of applying applicable law. This is legislating from the bench to allow children sexual predators out. From what I have read and heard of accounts of people who worked with her, she is very studious of the facts of each case before her and the applicable laws.
