This is an incredible read. Yes, trump thinks he is a law unto himself. As the article states, many, if not all, of his 70 or so EOs are unconstitutional. But the MAGA majority congress is rolling over and giving him an authority that the US Constitution specifically gives to Congress. I don't think the Dems, at this point, have the fortitude or even the will to step up to trump's unconstitutional power grab. Until repubs in congress begin to realize that trump's greed is very well gong to cost them their seats, no one is going to say, "STOP!"

The only political recourse to stop Trump is impeachment – assuming Democrats gain control of both Houses of Congress in 2026.

Otherwise, the courts are the only way to at lease hobble Trump’s fascist agenda.

Ultimately, there's no stopping Trump; he'll continue to ignore the Constitution and rule of law on his mission to destroy our democratic institutions.
